Dorothy Shirley, née Layton was born on the 7th August 1909 and died on the 20th December 2004. She was Hon. Secretary of the Primrose League South-East St. Pancras "Wainwright" Habitation No.1214.
The family have a solid silver tea pot, milk jug and sugar basin, which were given to her when she married John Maurice Shirley on 18th July 1936.
The tea pot is engraved on the bottom as follows:
